"This is T-Mobile, no further action is required. To discuss the removal of your number from our systems ... " then I hung up.

Gave them a call from my works number so they would not bug me.
Got the automated message saying it was T-mobile calling and no further action needed, but if you I would like to speak to them to Press 1, If I would like to be removed from their calling list to Press 2. Instantly someone in a Call Centre environment began speaking saying 'Hello this is elliot from T-mobile, did you recieve a missed call from...' at which point I hung up.

Is T-Mobile
It's their campaigns team contacting former T-Mobile/ Orange customers with a deal to get them back onboard

Constant calls
I keep getting calls from this number and when I go to answer they hang up. Now I know its them wanting me to call back. They hassled me like this last year and I thought it was them again. I was an old customer and I'll never go back to them after this harassment.

The number is a hitchin based office. It is genuinely a call from tmobile by a team put in by head office. The call is to see if they can win you back to tmobile by beating your current deal. They can usually beat anything you dp have by quite a long way. I was paying 40 a month on my 4s with vodafone, i now pay 36 a month on an iphone 5 with unlimited everything! Too many people are rude to people calling who are merely doing their job. If they call and you aren't interested then just ask them politely to remove your number from the system. There is no need to get stressed out about these calls, takes 2 minutes of your life. It annoys me how people talk to the sales agents as I used to do a similar job myself.

It annoys you? Haha.. it annoys me that you tell these morons you're not interested politely and they call you MORE. I was at one point getting 5-6 phone calls a day, 5 days a week from these people, and it was only when I started being abusive and swearing/blowing a whistle down the phone that they stopped? I asked them kindly to remove me numerous times

got called twice today, didnt answer and it literally didnt ring when i tried to call back, no voicemail cut in, i didnt get rejected, just didnt ring :| good to know its probably t mobile though but i cant believe they can be allowed to do this?? I never let my info go to other people yet they still seem to find me.
Got calls about being miss sold PPI too, they were looking for Mrs Elliot but when i said i wasnt her, they started telling ME about it instead!! I think its some ploy to call random numbers and ask for random people.

I work there its not a con. Its just a group of nice normal humans beings earning a living its not the people who you are rude to and shout at who call you a million times its the dialer.
The amount of sales that are made suggest otherwise to the fact its not important we save a lot of people money every day. From the simple fact of them listening us paying attention answering our questions and offering them something more suitable (if applicable).
Some people are so ignorant to what might actually do them a favor . Common example: mums who pay out fortunes for their kids phone credit, refuse to take out a sim only deal which is less than what they are already paying and gets them for for their money saving them hundred because they are refusing to on principle. stop being so stupid and give these HUMAN BEINGS a break.
when you next speak to these people consider how you would feel if you had lost your job through no fault of your own and had to do that out of desperation.
