I have blocked several numbers and this is a new one! I tried to call it back and you go straight through to dodgy music so hung up straight away. Cannot enlighten anyone but other numbers I have been getting calls from are:

Just has a phone call from 01625 506455 saying a company from freedom finance -ever heard of them asking to speak to my partner i think - couldn't really hear her, never had any dealing with them, something about 10 years ago - tried to ring back - just rings a bit then the line is dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(PPI) Claims Angels
A chaotic call from a chaotic company that really didn't know what it was doing.
Whoever or whatever entity owns this call centre should be ashamed of irritating time-wasting totally ineffective sales personnel training that wasted their time as well as mine.
This company is cold-calling and has no legal exemption as they well know!
They should get into a business that they know something about instead of charging huge commission for reclaiming mis-sold PPI insurance that the average 'victim' could claim wholly back by sending one standard downloaded letter to all the companies that they have or had loans with.
DIY PPI Reclaim letters (Just fill in the spaces) may be downloaded at any reputable sites (eg Guardian Newspaper, YouAndYourRights etc.for No fee and No commission. You just get all your PPI payments back reasonable interest if you qualify. It is wise to read the simple qualification criteria carefully.
DIY for nothing and this pest will dry up!

I keep getting this number calling me all different times of the day, they never give up. Changed my number and they found my new number. Anyone know what to suggest please?!?!?!

Magic Finance
I just answered a call from this number and after 10 seconds of silence, I felt patient, i was told "This was a call from Magic Finance. Due to a technical difficulty the person ringing you is not able to talk to you. If you want to call us back please do si on 01625...." I hung up at this point.
They are a waste of space, tell them where to go if you do ever feel like talking to them.

Just received a call saying they were Freedom2
They told me they been given information as they had taken over PPI claims from a company?, had a list of members of public names that had been missold PPI from various companies and named quite a few like- GE money. Paragon, Black Horse etc and that they had been given control to claim this back but when I said anything I had would have been over 10 years ago they said I could still claim but only they as a company could and no one else as they had been given this sole role -
When I asked how much this would cost me the girl got shirty and said nothing. so I asked - so your telling me you will claim my money and dont expect a penny and she said yes and that if I didnt claim through them then I wouldnt be able too in future.
Hence she couldnt wait to get me off the phone when I questioned again about the cost. Do they really think we are that stupid!

Auto-dialler hung up on me immediately
Their auto-dialler called me at 18:15 on a Monday and I answered within 2 rings and it hung up on me immediately - I guess they had no agents free to pester me at the time. The result was a continuous tone. This is my non-BT landline that has always been ex-directory since it was created plus it has been on the TPS database for several years. They must have dialled my number at random or bought it from someone (although I am *so* careful to avoid giving this number to anyone).
